Crafty Secrets Challenge #106

I am fortunate enough to once again be hosting the Crafty Secrets Challenge over on the SCS Forum.  This week I thought it would be fun to challenge the ladies to create "Anything But A Card".  With CHA being behind us ... there are so many wonderful new products being offered at Crafty Secrets/Heartwarming Vintage.  If you love vintage or shabby chic ... you will want to pop right on over and check out their SITE & BLOG.

I recently visited a new crafting store in Medina, Ohio called Bee Scrappy and was thrilled to see she carried some of my favorites including Crafty Secrets.  I purchased several things including the Vintage Valentine Cotton Scraps from which I created the wall hanging.  This my first time attempting something like this and I'm happy with how it turned out.  What do you think???

Here is a close-up of one of the squares to give you a better look.

Using the Nestabilities Scallop Squares dies, I cut the background squares from Garden Green cardstock.  After cutting the "LOVE" banner into squares, I adhered them to Blue Bayou paper and added Stickles around the edge.  Each scallop square was attached to the other using a small gold brad and a gold Pilot marker was used to accent the other scallops.  Gold ribbon & gold tassel from JoAnn's were used for the top & bottom accents.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!!  And if you left me a comment ... double thank you!!!  They're calling for MORE snow today & tomorrow ... boy I hope they're wrong!!  Have a great day!!
