Saturday Spotlight - Around the House

Happy Weekend Everyone!
Are you ready for another Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential Challenge???

*Thank you so much to everyone who played along with us last week in our "Teeny Tiny" challenge!*  We had so much fun going through all of the tiny& beautiful creations everyone had made! It gave us more than just a teeny bit of inspiration! LOL!  And a big thank you to Kathe Slack independent distributor of the Angel Company for sponsoring us last week!

We are really going to have you put your thinking caps on this week!  The Spotlight Divas would like to challenge you to use a household item on your creation...but NOT a craft item! Use safety pins, dryer sheets, household cleaners, paper clips for doing a technique or using as an embellishment.

For instance, for my creation, I chose to use WAX PAPER  in the form of the Waxpaper Cuttlebug Technique.  Great fun and made for a wonderful background paper!!

When you do this technique, you are using 2 pieces of glossy white paper which gave me the opportunity to use two different colors when coloring which matched in with my image colors.  Speaking of images ... isn't this Victoria Case image adorable!!!

Victoria Case Art Designs is our sponsor this week
and One Lucky winner from Mr. Linky this week will be randomly chosen to win four digital images of their choice from Victoria's store.

Other items used on my card are as follows:

Paper:  Glossy White, Whisper White, Blue Bayou Eggplant Envy
Inks:  Blue Bayou, Eggplant Envy
Accessories:  Offray gingham ribbon, Creative Memories corner rounder, Deco Art Glamour Dust, Prismacolor markers, Kaiser gems, Wax Paper, Cuttlebug embossing folder, sponge, Martha Stewart border punch, ZIG 2-way glue
Please be sure to checkout the inspiration provided by my Co- DIVAs:

*Vicki Parsons (Creator/Coordinator)
*Chris Olsen (Coordinator)

Vicki is having computer problems again this week ... so if you don't see her around, that is the reason!  She's doing the best she can and appreciates you joining in on our challenge!!!

Here are some reminders for you about the challenges:
1) Be sure to place the DIRECT link to your creation in Mr. Linky by the deadline of  Friday, 3:00 PM CST in order to qualify for any prizes awarded. Winners will be announced before the next challenge goes up. Make sure that you Link our Saturday Spotlight challenge blog somewhere in your post please!
2) If you upload your creation to an on-line gallery, please be sure to label it with the keywords SSHP18
3) We would like to have only NEW creations for this challenge please! - You can enter more than once as long as each creation is different.
**Note that any link that does NOT meet these requirements will be deleted!**

Looking forward to being inspired by your creations!!!   Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a great weekend!!!
