Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #48

Good Morning Everyone!!
What a glorious day ... the sun is shining, birds are singing and after a little crafting I'm going outside and enjoy this beautiful day with a little spring clean up!!  But before I do that, I'd like to share with you the card I made for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge.

As you know, this is ONE of my favorite challenges (haven't missed one yet!) and I'm ALWAYS intrigued with the layouts they come up with.  Today's is no exception!  Though not all that difficult, I would have never thought of it on my own!!  Please be sure to pop on over and check it out!!  If you've never been to Priscillastyles ... WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN????  These ladies are amazing and the prizes offered are OUTSTANDING!!!

Here is the card I came up with today.  I just LOVE the vintage images over on the Shabby Chic papirskatter website and I have used one of Heidi's images again today.

Isn't this image precious??  I just might be using this one for Mother's Day!  My background paper is actually a vintage fruit pattern, but I thought the colors worked perfectly with the ladies dress.  The ribbons are Offray and I've used the Bow Easy to make my bows.  I also took the liberty to add Kaiser half pearls in the corners (just thought it "needed something").

Another fun Midnight Madness challenge this week!  And, don't forget, they give you a sneak peek at the sketch on Friday before the actual Tuesday challenge!  What a helpful, fun idea!!  Okay ... I hear my yard calling, I'd better get finished up with blog posting and get outside!  Have a wonderful day!!!

  8. Darlene, another beauty from you...love that image and yes for a Mother's day card that would be a perfect one to use. Your background dp is such a good match with your card and those pretty orange bows are fantastic. Is the bow easy really as easy as it sounds coz I know your bows are perfectly made and I may think about trying to get one. The addition of the pearls is a lovely finishing touch to this beautiful card. Love it!
Thanks so much for joining us again this week.
