Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #54

There is an amazing amount of fun going on over at Midnight Madness  ... but I only have time this week to play along in the sketch challenge.  Here are the two sketch versions you have to choose from this week ...

I guess you could say my creation for this week's challenge falls somewhere in the middle of these two versions.

I have used an image from a site called Magic Moonlight.  The color on this little girls flowers was the main bases for my entire creation.

Here is the recipe for my card:
Stamps:  Retired SU sentiment
Papers:  Memory Boutique dp, Basic Grey Ambrosia dp, Very Vanilla, Basic Black
Inks:  Versafine Black
Accessories:  Image from Magic Moonlight, Dollarama gems, Martha Stewart birds punch & branch punch, Offray grosgrain ribbon (black & peach), Bazzill paper flowers, Prima flowers

Be sure to pop on over to the Midnight Madness Blog for all the fun you can handle.  I do believe there is a Bar-B-Q going on this week!  INTRIGUED??

Thanks for the visit ... I hope you are having a wonderful day!!

  5. Somewhere in the middle works for me :) I think your card is just adorable. Love the orange..you are brave..I can not seem to work with orange the well..well only around Halloween, but you seem to not have a problem with creating such lovely vintage beauties. Your creation adds so much to the unique quality of the variety of talent that graces the blog posts over at the Midnight Madness challenges. Thank you for being a part of these challenges and for helping celebrate out one year anniversary. If you have not done so already, be sure to post a comment for our BBQ comment challenge this week. Next week will be an exciting player participation awards week. You do not want to miss out on that. As always thanks for playing the Midnight Madness sketch challenge.

  6. Darlene, this is just adorable...reminds me of a little Dutch girl with all the orange and her basket of flowers. I really love how you added the white doves to the flowers on the side of the card. Beautifully put together and yes it is in the middle of both so I guess you got the best of both worlds here! Well done on another beautiful card.
It's such a pleasure to see your creations each week! Hope you'll be back to join in this week!
