Joans Gardens Challenge #8

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Well, my home canning is done for today!  I don't do huge quantities ... with there only being the two of us, I don't need an entire shelf of each veggie ... but it's still nice to have a few goodies over the winter months to remind us of summer.  Here's today's bounty ...

Now I'd like to share with you the creation I made this morning for the challenge at Joan's Gardens.  Joan isn't home yet (she went to CHA then onto a gathering in the UP of Michigan) but she was thinking ahead and had her challenge all ready to go!  This week she's asked us to "think FALL" (boy that will be here before you know it!!)  We are to use pumpkins or leaves along with embossing or glitter on our creations.

I decided to use this cute DeeDee's Digi's image which is offered in the current Freebie Challenge over at CDAC as my main focus image.  I've used Prismacolor markers for the coloring.  For the embossing, I've used this Nestabilities frame die and I've added a touch of "glitter" to the moon with DecoArt Glamour Dust.  My sentiment & acorn scroll are from an old SU set.

Here's a close-up of the glitz & embossing ...
Joan's challenges are always great fun!  Why not join in ... she's very unique with her ideas and I think it's fun that she always uses items that she carries in her store!  OH you're not familiar with Joan's store ... well, you really MUST check it out!  But give her a couple of days to recoup ... I'm sure she brought back LOTS OF GOODIES from CHA to share with us!!

Okay ... it's back to the crafting cave for a short while before hubby's home for dinner!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Hope you're having a good one!!
