Joan's Gardens Challenge + More

Have you checked out the fun challenges over at Joan's Gardens?  On Thursday's she has a card challenge where she gives you a sample & the recipe to be used ... and there's a prize for one random winner ... on Tuesday's she has a TAG challenge ... no prize ... but there is recognition because the others can VOTE on your tag creation AND you get a head start on those birthday, all occasion, Christmas tags you will need for the coming year.

This is my card for this week's CARD CHALLENGE and the requirements are:

1. Use Coral/pink and Green for your colors
2. A Birthday Sentiment
3. Vintage Paper
4. Handmade or Punch flower

I have used Webster's Papers, the image is for the challenge over on Picture and Scraps Challenge, homemade flowers using Heartfelt Creations Posey Patch Stamps & Dies and the butterfly accents are from the Martha Stewart Lacy Butterfly punch.  (all items were purchased from Joan's Gardens)

Other challenges for this creation are:
Picture & Scraps - use image provided
Marks Finest Papers - Self Made Flowers
Sweet Stampin - Spring Flowers
Sew Many Cards - Anything Goes
Stampin With The Dragon - Anything Goes
Craft Us Crazy - Anything Goes (new site)

Another project I would like to share with you today are these fun coasters I created using the new Coca Cola Ladies from Nicecrane Designs.  You can find these adorable images HERE.  I'm just over joyed with how Ignacio has showcased my work!

For this project I have used neutral colored chipboard coasters, Modge Podge, Tim Holtz 'symphony' tape, and various Tim Holtz distress inks/applicator.  For a closer look ... I have included individual photos of these coasters ... so much fun to make and what a great gift idea too!

OKAY that's it for me today ... I've been on the verge of catching a cold the past couple of days and today it seems to be more annoying that yesterday ... really makes it hard to craft & play with paper/ink when you have to get up and blow your nose a million times!  Grrrrr!  So I think I'll go curl up on the sofa with my warm blanket and take a nap!  Hubby is making homemade clam chowder for us so I don't have to worry about cooking today either!  Awww ... (other than this stupid cold) Life Is Good!!

Have a wonderful weekend . . .
Hugs (no kisses ... I'm sick!)
Darlene
