TWO MORE for the GUYS

Happy Monday Everyone!  I have SO MANY other things I should be doing ... but after looking through some of the samples over on the Stampscapes Website ... I just had to give this technique a try (my own version of course) and created two more cards using sponging and Stampscape rubber stamps.  What do you think??

I've used various shades of blue for my background sponging ... leaving white space in the center.  Then created my scene using various Stampscape stamps  (four to be exact).  Added ribbon and a sentiment and viola! I really like this technique but I certainly need MORE PRACTICE to get it 'smoother' looking.

For this card, I decided to go outside the box with my colors.  Using various SU and Momento inks for the sponged background.  My scene was created using FIVE different stampscape stamps then I used SU inks and inking nibs to add a little color to the church and trees.  A small sponge pod (looks like a marshmellow) was used to create the evening sun.

I really like the peacefulness created using these stamps.  Hope you like them too!

NOW I really must grab a bite of lunch (way past lunch time) ... and I have a pot roast in the crockpot and it is starting to smell REALLY GOOD!

Catch you all tomorrow for another MIDNIGHT MADNESS SKETCH CHALLENGE!!

Have a wonderful day!  Kind of rainy here in NE Ohio ... good day to stay in the 'cave' and play!!  TaTa!
