A Christmas Card in February

Happy Sunday Everyone!
After spending the morning cleaning my house ... the afternoon at a Stampin' Up party with friends ... I thought this evening I would check out a few challenges over on Feline Playful and ended up making a CHRISTMAS card.  I don't usually do any Christmas cards until sometime in the fall but I was inspired by the fact that SHELLY'S IMAGES is sponsoring the challenge over on Christmas Inspirations so I thought I'd play along.

I decided to use Shelly's 'JINGLE BELLS'  as my Christmas digi image.  She has several wonderful holiday digis to choose from in her store.  For the coloring, I have actually used THREE different coloring mediums on this image.  Prismacolor Markers, SU watercolor pencils/ blender pens and Sugarloaf Whispers Strokes  markers.  I've also added Silver Stickles on the bells for added sparkle.

Here is a close-up.
It probably would have looked better if I had 'waited' for the Stickles to dry ...BUT, I'm a bit impatient with that sort of thing so you'll have to use your imagination!  LOL

This bottom panel is actually a rubber stamp by Impression Obsession and I've colored it with SU watercolor pencils/blender pens.  Once colored, I used Quickie Glue and Deco Art Glamour Dust on the roof and snowy areas for that COLD SNOWY SPARKLE.
The Christmas ribbon is from Michaels and the sentiment is Paper Inspiration.

Other Challenges this card fits are:
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge - Create a scene on your Christmas Card
Digi Designs Challenge - It All About Snow
Hiding In My Craftroom - Glitter, Glitter
Winter Wonderland - A Christmas Card

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you've had as wonderful a weekend as I have!
Hubby & I finally got to go out for our Valentine's Day dinner last evening (he was sick on V-day) and it was WONDERFUL!  Very relaxed, nice music in the background and a FABULOUS dinner!  Well worth the wait!!  Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead!
Hugs,
Darlene
