Sneak Peek No. 1

Darlene Pavlick from Dar’s Crafty Creations is an avid Splitcoast Stamper who loves vintage.  Over the next several months, Darlene will be sharing her wonderful tutorials and creations with Papers and Pixels.  This month, Darlene gets us underway with two terrific tri-shutter cards.  Shown below is Darlene’s vintage tri-shutter card, but there’s also a beautiful birthday card she’ll show you how to make.

WOW!  How awesome is this?
I (little ole me!) was asked to be featured in the October Edition of Paper and Pixels Magazine!

I can't tell you how excited I was to receive the email asking me if they could feature me for the October Edition and after sending in my work, they ask if I'd like to do a few more things for additional upcoming editions. I tell you, I'm like a little kid on Christmas morning!!

If you are not familiar with Paper and Pixels Magazine, they are an ONLINE magazine jam packed full of crafting fun of all types.  Store Link: www.papersandpixels.com/shop/ and here is a link to their Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Papers-and-Pixels/149120158444439

The September edition is available now and you can check out their website HERE to get a taste of all the wonderful information available in just one issue of this fabulous magazine!

The October Edition is to go live on the 15th but I just couldn't wait to SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS!  I never was very good at keeping secrets and please forgive me for having 'little kid in a candy store' syndrome today ... LOL!

OH! OH! OH!  WAIT!!  MORE EXCITING NEWS ... I'm doubly excited because I'm thrilled to say that I'm sharing this spotlight with friend & artist Shelly Parker (Shelly's Images).  You'll have to get your hands on the October Edition when it becomes available ($1.50) to read/see more about me & Shelly and she will even have her fabulous Jingle Bells digi offered to subscribers as a FREEBIE
(see below).

PLEASE be sure to check it out and let me know what you think.

OKAY ... DEEP BREATH!
I must get on the road ... I'm headed to Joan's Gardens (in Indiana) today for the final workshop of 2012.  Not sure what she has up her sleeve for us this time around but I know one project required EGG SHELLS that we needed to remove the membrane from before we could use them.  Interesting huh!  I'll be sure to share all the details with you next week. I promise to drive safely!!

Talk to you soon!
