Your First Christmas Together

Good Morning All!

I have a full and busy day ahead of me but wanted to share a little something with you before I head out the door.
A friend of mine asked me the other day if I could make her a card for a newly married couple that read "Your 1st Christmas Together".  She said she had hunted everywhere and couldn't find anything like that ... she didn't even see 'Baby's 1st Christmas' on the shelves.  I guess it's those times when you need something very SPECIFIC that it's good to have not only a long standing & good friend ... but one who makes cards!  LOL!
Of course I told her "SURE ... I'll come up with something for you" and the wheels started turning.

The first thing I did was create the sentiment using Photo Shop Elements (thanks Shelly Parker for the lessons on how to use this software) and then my thought was I wanted a pretty image in the background with this sentiment overlaid.  Here's what I came up with:

Not knowing this couple, I decided to make 2 cards and let Judy pick the one she thought suited them best.  I just LOVE the Crafty Secrets Vintage Christmas CD and that's the direction I went for these creations. There are so many beautiful images, sentiments, papers on these CDs, you could just go crazy with ideas!

Be sure to pop over to Crafty Secrets new Crafty Vintage Girl Store website and browse through all the amazing and fabulous images, papers, etc. available for your card making needs!  You will LOVE all the new digital products available!

Now I must 'get on the road'!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you're having a WONDERFUL day!
As always . . .
