Snowy Borders . . .

Hello Everyone!
SNOW ... WIND ... COLD ...
Welcome to N.E. Ohio!

There's a new, fun challenge going on over at Classy Cards n Such and I decided to play along!  The theme is BORDERS and you are to use something that is currently available in their store!

I know this beautiful Memory Box 'Frosty Border' #98171 is available from their store because I just purchased it from there!  LOL!  I also found these awesome Impression Obsession Fir Tree dies (DIE084-V) there and couldn't wait to create using them!

I created my snowy background by stamping a large Inkadinkado snowflake die with white craft ink onto navy blue cardstock ... then stamping a fun snowflake grouping stamp from AMuse called 'Lots of Flakes' with Brilliance 'pearlescent ice blue' pigment ink.

Of course my mounds of snow are simply torn pieces of white cardstock which I've tucked the lower part of this fabulous Memory Box 'Woodland Deer' #98679 die down into ... making it look like he's trudging through the snow!  I did add a touch of Stickles to the snow edges for a touch of wintery sparkle!

I think I purchased this beautiful die from Beverly also, but if not, I'm sure Beverly over at Classy Cards n Such would be able to get it for you!  He is PERFECT for GUY CARDS!!!  My corner snowflake treatment is yet another Memory Box die called 'Snowflake Corner' #98238.

I also had the fabulous challenge over at Craft A Scene in mind when I was making this card creation.  This time around we have the freedom to 'Create Your Own Scene'!  Of course, my scene is what you might find out in the woods this time of year around our 'neck of the woods'!    I actually saw a couple of deer in our back woods just a few days ago ... such a beautiful sight to see!  I have really enjoyed 'creating scenes' lately!  Whether it is with stamps & ink ... or like this creation which is primarily die cuts!  When my creation is complete, it gives me such a satisfying feeling!  Come give it a try!

Thanks so much everyone for your encouraging words and for just taking the time out of your busy day to spread joy & happiness!

Guess I'd better go grab a sweater ... I'm FREEZING down here!  LOL!
AND, I have the heater on too!
Brrrrr!  Come on Springtime!

As always ...
