One for the 'guys' . . . Crafty Secrets Style!

Hello my friends!
WOW!  Are you as crazy busy as I am right now?  LOL!
We are hosting our Annual Neighborhood Holiday Get Together tomorrow and between doing more craft shows than normal this fall and redoing the kitchen ... I am SO FAR BEHIND on everything it seems!  BUT ... I'm 'almost' ready for tomorrow's party ... then I can breathe and hopefully get caught up on my crafting a bit too before Christmas actually comes!  OH DEAR!  I just remembered I don't have my holiday cards in the mail yet!  YIKES!!!

So ........... before I jump back into 'crazy mode' ... I wanted to share a quick card I made using some of the new items available at Crafty Secrets.  Sandy has just finished and added new sets to the store ... you really MUST stop over and check them out!  Wonderful collections at very reasonable prices!

OH!  And do check out our BLOG ... you still have a little time left to join in our December Linky Party (EVERYONE'S A WINNER!  TELL YOUR FRIENDS!)

These are GREAT and work wonderfully for the 'guys' in our lives!  Here's my card using one of the images & sentiment from the new 'Deer Christmas Digital Stamp Set'.

Isn't this cool!
The background paper is from our Vintage Christmas CD.  It comes in green/white but I decided to print it in black/white to coordinate with my deer image.  The red matting is also one of the beautiful digital papers from this CD.
A couple springs of green branch punched from my Martha Stewart branch punch and red berries created with red Stickles is all that was needed to accent this fabulous image!

Well I'm afraid that's all I have time for today!
Still have a bit of cleaning & decorating to do before tomorrow's party!  Thank goodness hubby is in charge of the menu/cooking!  He has come up with a huge menu (no surprise there) and he's quite good at 'staging' everything so I'll just continue to do 'my part' and stay out of the kitchen unless he calls me for assistance! LOL!

I'll hopefully be back with more creations to share & inspire with next week!
Until then ...

  1. Great card Darlene, the red and black contrast is so striking and I like your idea to print the background paper in black/white to match! Thanks for sharing, I just pinned this.
