Springtime Beauty

Hello Everyone!
I don't have any crafty goodness to share today but wanted to share a few quick photos
I took yesterday before the rains began last evening.

Springtime always warms my heart when I see all the trees coming to life and flowers beginning to bloom.    Here's just a peek at a few bloomers around my house yesterday ...

These poppies were actually supposed to have been removed when we had our front beds relandscaped a couple years ago ... but I was happy to see that they stood their ground and came back (I really didn't want them removed in the first place ... no matter how wild looking they might be, lol)
I planted this Karalee Petite Pink Butterfly Flower 'Star Pink' last year when my 'Dark Knight' Blue Mist Shrub became damaged by a harsh previous winter and the guys putting on our new porch!  It has JUST started to bloom so I think it's going to be gorgeous once fully bloomed.

I must admit ... in the course of taking these photos I realized how many weeds had gotten a foot hold and ahead of me ... SO ... yep, you know what else I was doing before the rains began!  LOL

Hubby picked out this beautiful rhododendron at the green house last fall.  He loved the color of the blossoms and has been babying it through all the late spring freezes by covering it with a huge box each night and obviously his work was not in vein ... it's being to bloom and it's beautiful.

Of course then there's my old, reliable Lilac.  It is located in the corner where the porch ends and the extension of the living room area begins and is huge.

There were 2 bushes in this corner but they were crowding each other out so one had to go.
Of course it only took 1 year for this one to FILL THE VOID and it smells WONDERFUL when I open the living room window which is right beside it.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed a little peek at what's blooming around the Pavlick house this spring!

Have a fabulous weekend!

As always ...
