Daughters . . .

Happy Friday Everyone!

I'm a bit busy at the moment trying to be sure I have everything lined up
before hubby & I head to Alaska but wanted to share a fun creation I made for the
current sketch challenge at Mojo Monday!

Here's a peek at the sketch I created from . . .

I have had several sheets of these beautiful vintage images by Sandra Kuck
(who incidentally is from not far way from me here in Ohio)
and carried by Nellie's Choice.  This image came from the sheet titled 'Summer'.

A few challenges I'd also like to share in are:

Cards 4 Galz Challenge - Summer Fun (a walk through the flower gardens with Mom)

Before I leave you today I'd wanted to share some of the beauty that is
blooming in my flower beds today!  This has been a FABULOUS spring for bold flower color.
I just HAD to quickly snap a few photos on my phone to share on FB.
But in case you don't follow me on FB ... I'd like to share them with you here on my blog too!

Enjoy ... hope you take the opportunity to get outside and breath in the beauty
that Mother Nature is displaying all around you today!

The front flower bed is alive with color ... as is the side of the garage.  Knock out roses, bush roses, day lilies, wave petunias, geraniums, sunflowers, poppies.

And how about these Asiatic lilies that I planted last fall.  This bold multi color red/yellow are going to be AMAZING in a few more days when they are ALL out in bloom.  Hopefully I can catch a photo when that happens.

I loved this rose colored Asiatic Lily also ... such a pretty POP of color.

And, of course the ever faithful Day Lilies ... just starting to bloom both at the front and side of my house ... so so pretty!  Purple is my FAVORITE color ... but Yellow has always made me happy!!

This is my beautiful SPIDERWORT (did you know it's edible?) !
Given to me a couple years ago by my good friend Gretchen Ambrose,
I planted this patch out front next to the Jack Frost Birch tree
and a few others along the side of the deck out back ... all are doing FABULOUSLY this year!!

AND last but not least ... the lovely fragrance of Lavender!
This plant is right next to my front door steps (a nice welcome) but I have 3 others
along the right side of my front porch that look/smell beautiful too.

Thanks again for stopping by ...
Hope you have a wonderful day ...
As always . . .
