Where do the years go?

Happy Labor Day Everyone!

and a HUGE HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my grandson, Jonathan (19 today)

From racing dirt bikes to building cell towers 150' up in the air ... this young man is all about living life to the fullest.

Where is the time going?  It seems like yesterday that we rushed back from vacation to be in the room when he was born!

God Bless & Watch Over You Jon!!

 Okay ... onto today's card creation . . .

Today I have a card to share that I created with the Paper Play Sketch Blog in mind.
Here's the current sketch for the challenge:

When I saw this sketch I knew exactly what image I would use for the focus panel.  This sweet image comes from a sheet of vintage styled images called "My Little Brother"  by Nellie's Choice and the artist is Sandra Kuck (who happens to be an Ohio native who grew up not far from here).

I chose designer papers from an older Basic Grey paper pad called 'wassail paper pad' for the background and accent panels.  The cute little bear/rockin' horse dies are by Spellbinder and called 'Playtime' and the 'Hug' die is from Avery Elle.  A touch of sparkle and a little faux stitching and my card is ready to mail.

Going to be quiet around here this Labor Day and that's okay ... gives a person a minute to 'reflect'!
But if you're having a big cookout today be sure to ENJOY and BE SAFE!!
