Monkey-ing Around

Happy Friday One and All!
Yesterday I decided to step away from my design team work
and 'monkey around' with a fun Elizabeth Craft die called 'Jinks the Monkey'
and create some Kids birthday cards for an upcoming Spring show.

I've had a sheet of Doodlebug Design 'snips & snails' #3237 Monkey Business
2-sided 12x12 paper in my stash for a couple of years and these two
products were meant to be together!!!  LOL

For the first card I knew I wanted to simply die cut an oval and reverse the paper for the background.  I've used the Tutti Designs 'Nesting Stitched Ovals' to create my oval cut and again for my white oval frame.  Here are the TWO cards I created using 1 sheet of double sided designer paper and scraps to create my monkeys.

These cards were both so much fun to create
and I think will bring a smile to the recipient!    Who doesn't like monkeys??

I've used the same Penny Black 'Celebrations' die set for both cards.

Penny Black - Dies - Celebrations

All that's required now is a fun sentiment on the inside and these cards
will be ready to package for the show.
A SIMPLE but fun design ... hope you like it!
