Friendships and Fall

Happy Tuesday Friends!
Wow!  It really feels like fall here in Ohio!
Amazing how quickly things change!

I have a quick card share today which came about because I wanted to utilize the image I had actually created for the card I was working on for yesterdays post.  But the circle ended up bigger than I could use for the sketch so went in a different direction.   I couldn't just 'ignore' this pretty image after I had taken the time to color it LOL ... so here ya go!

The floral stamp set I used is from Sweet 'n Sassy and is called 'Flowers in Bloom'.  The sentiment comes from a different stamp set ... Lawn Fawn 'Our Friendship Grows' #LF556.

I didn't care for the solid goldenrod background panel so decided to simply repeat the image in the background to create my own coordinating paper panel.  I've used the Tutti Designs 'Nesting Stitched Circle' dies to die cut my focus image which has been colored with Spectrum Noir Pencils.

A couple challenges to share in:
Colouring in Scrapland Challenge - ATG with hand colored image
Dream Valley Challenge #162 - Use a stamp or digi image
Fashionable Stamping Challenge #126 - Use your inks anyway you like
Stamping Sensations August Challenge - ATG - stamp must be focus

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Hope you are having a WONDERFUL day!
As always . . .

Oooh, beautiful image and coloring! So glad it found a home. Nice idea for the background. I'm feeling fall in the air, too, but this is our most beautiful time of year. Too bad it's so short.

Boy it sure DOES feel like fall. I'm up here on the shores of Lake Superior and we can see some leaves turning. Don't know if I'm ready for that. Your card is so pretty with the stamped background and then the focal stamped with the same stamps. Love your coloring too. Beautful!!
