Double D - The Kitchen is Where the Heart is!

Hello Friends!
It's time for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Team Darlene is hosting today and the theme is:

The Kitchen is the Heart of the Home!

Here's the inspiration board I have created to help you get started . .

This is going to be a fun challenge to see what you all come up with!

Don't Forget!
We are still celebrating our Birthday at Double D
and that means you have MULTIPLE chances to win!
You'll want to be sure to join in the fun!

While in search of the main prize for this challenge, I spotted this adorable Elizabeth Craft Apron die at the Dies R Us store.  My daughter LOVES these old time aprons so I couldn't help myself ... I not only ordered one for the challenge prize but ordered one for myself too!  LOL   I know what her birthday card will look like this year!  (In fact, maybe I'll save this card for the occasion).

The background paper for my card is from the Paper Studio 'The Blue Barn' paper pack purchased at Hobby Lobby.  I created the 'apron rack' by die cutting a scrap of white card stock using a Marianne Designs (LR0300) border die and used a blue zig marker to create the look of a hook for my apron to hang on.

The sentiment is from the internet (same as I used for the mood board).  I reduced it in size, printed it out then die cut the image and the navy blue matting using the Tutti Designs Scallop Stitched Nesting Squares.

I hope you'll come join in our celebration fun!    YOU could be the lucky winner of one of these two prizes from the Double D Challenge Blog
Die-Versions - Whispers - Happy Birthday To You
AND be sure to pop over to the DT blogs ... some of the ladies are also sharing a prize on their blogs in honor of our birthday!

Challenges to share in:
Daisy Chain Challenge #15 - Use Something New (apron die)
Die Cut Divas January Challenge - Do/Use Something New (apron die)
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Add a Sentiment

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope to see you at Double D!

As always . . .
