Prayers ...

Hello my friends and Happy Sunday!
Today I have a card to share that was created for a couple of challenges I spotted out in Blogland!

My color palette comes from the photo inspiration challenge over on Just Add Ink.
Check out their fabulous mood board.

And my design comes from the wonderful sketch over at the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.
If your mojo is lacking ... simply do as I did today ... find a sketch that grabs your attention and a color challenge or photo inspiration challenge.  Your card will almost come together by itself!

The background papers I have used today are from the Paper Studio 'the Blue Barn' paper pack and VERY OLD Pixie Press 12x12 paper pack.  The sentiments are a 'Prayers stamp & die set' by Hero Arts (DC183).  I die cut the Prayers die 3 times and glued them together for additional dimension.

Confession time once again!  LOL
I had originally stamped the 'and hugs coming your way' portion directly to the background paper but in my haste messed it up so I had no choice but to stamp it onto a scrap piece of white card stock and die cut it using the matching Tutti Designs 'Scalloped Stitched Nesting Squares'  to my Tutti Designs 'Scalloped Stitched Nesting Circles' in my design.

That's what I get for not taking the time to do my stamping using my Tim Holtz stamping platform.  This wouldn't have happened if I would have just taken that extra minute!  Ugh ... haste makes waste!

I hope you're having a fabulous weekend!  We are to have another sunny day so I'm hoping to mow our yard for the first time this spring!  Then need to treat it for dandelions before those pesky (but cute) little yellow flowers pop up all over the place!  LOL
