It's Fussy & Fancy Time . . .

Hello Everyone!
It's time once again for a new challenge over at the
Today's theme was chosen by our very talented Jo, and our theme is . . .

Favorite Florals

Here's my creation . . .

I love all flowers of course but one of my early on favorites were daisies!
I can remember (way back when) my junior prom dress was teal blue with an umpire waist that had a band of white & yellow daisies.  I think that was my first time having my 'hair done at a salon' and they put fresh daisies in my 'updo' (dating myself I know !  LOL)

So today I've created a card using the Memory Box ' Glorious Gerber Daisies' die.

Memory Box - Dies - Glorious Gerber Daisies

I die cut it twice from scraps of white card stock then colored one panel using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers CT4 and JG1.  I then glued the two panels together for added dimension.

My oval background panel was die cut three times using the Tutti Designs 'Scalloped Stitched Nesting Oval' dies and adhere together again for added dimension.

A few sprigs from the Joy Crafts! #6003/0032 (very old) were cut from white card stock, colored with the same JG1 Spectrum Noir alcohol marker and tucked in behind the base of the daisy die on either side.  Yellow Stickles was used for the flower centers and a wooden butterfly from Tupelo Designs (an order thank you) was added in the upper corner for balance.

Another peek at my finished creation . . .

I hope you've enjoy today's share and will come join in our challenge fun!  See you there!
