What a wonderful time . . .

Hello Everyone!
For the past 3 days we have spent a lot of time and seen a lot of beautiful Australian sites with my friend & guide 'Aussie Annie" and her sweet hubby Bill!  Tomorrow (Wednesday here in Australia) we will be boarding the cruise ship for a 20 day cruise to other beautiful areas then ending in Tahiti.  It will be an exciting day to begin our cruise ... but a very sad day to have to leave our new Australian friends Annie & Bill!  They have been so amazingly wonderful and loads of fun while guiding us around this beautiful country.

On Monday they drove us to view the beautiful 'Blue Mountains'.

We road the steepest railway in the world down through the Blue Mountains.
OMG ... what a rush!

And, here's Annie ... just 'horsing' around!  LOL

How thrilled we were to find they had booked a room at the hotel where we were staying, which meant we had all day & evening to enjoy their company!   And gave us an opportunity to get an early start today on a few other things they wanted to show us.

Today (Tuesday) we met up for a lovely breakfast then walked down to the Harbour and famous Opera House.  We also took a fabulous little train ride through the Botanical Gardens and finished the day with a Ferry Ride over to Manly where we enjoyed a delicious lunch at an open air restaurant before heading back to the hotel.

Again, I will be saddened to leave my new found aussie friend tomorrow and so honored that they are going to once again make that 2 hour drive back to Sydney to say Bon Voyage and see us off at the ship.

Well that's it for now ... I'm exhausted so headed to bed (body still dealing with jet lag and time changes) LOL

As always,
thanks for stopping by and
HUGS from Ohio Australia
