Sisterhood - What's that in the Sky?

Hello dear friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over at the Sisterhood of Crafters
and I'm happy to tell you I am today's hostess.

Our theme today is:

What's that up in the sky?
Something You Would See/Find In The Sky!
(ex.  sun, stars, airplane, birds, balloons, butterflies, etc., etc.)

I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted to create today ... so many options!
But, I created a background including this very large, hot sun using
Tim Holtz distress oxide inks on plain white card stock, then
die cut my bird and sentiment.  Easy Peasy!
(Mojo just isn't up to standards yet ... that's what I get for taking such a long vacation! lol)
A little faux stitching helped finish it off.

So, I guess I didn't do too bad, lol ... I have TWO things you
could see in the sky ... the Sun AND the Bird!  YAY!

You'll want to be sure and pop over to see what
the team has created for your inspiration!  These ladies
are obviously NOT having an issue with their mojo!  LOL
