Double D - Nautical

Hello Everyone!
To all my USA friends & family ...  HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!!

Image result for 4th of july images

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

Today over on the Double D Challenge Blog,
Diane is our hostess and her theme today is ...

NAUTICAL

Check out this amazing mood board she has created for your inspiration!

WOW!  I could have gone in so many directions but my eye was drawn to the anchors in the lower left corner.

Here's what I came up with ...

INSIDE

It just so happens I have a new die set from the Dies R Us Store called 'Nautical' by EK Tools-CutterBee (imagine that!  lol) and I couldn't wait to use them.  They cut beautifully and the embossing on them is fabulous!  Just saying ...

EK Success - Cutter Bee Die Set - Nautical

The die I have used for the framing is Sue Wilson Indian Ocean Collection Background.

Sue Wilson Designs - Indian Ocean Collection - Background

The sentiments on the front come from an OLD Just Rite 'Anchors Away' stamp set and the inside sentiment is from a Hero Arts stamp set called 'Many Birthday Messages'.

I do hope you'll come join in our challenge ... this is going to be a FUN ONE!
Check out what Diane has up for grabs to one lucky random draw winner.

You'll also want to be sure to check out what the teams have created ... OMG they are SO TALENTED!!!

Happy 4th to you Darlene! You and Diane got inspiration from the same place on the mood board, but I love how different your cards are. That border frame is going on my wish list. It makes your card so splendid.

I would never have thought about using the fancy die with a nautical theme but it soooo works. Great CAS card. The inside is as fun as the outside.

Really, Darlene, you've been rockin' the nautical cards lately. I was drawn to that floor covering, too, and WOW, did you ever have the perfect dies for it! Love the SW frame on this one. And just as cute inside!
