Mr. & Mrs.

Hello Everyone!
Today I have a special card to share that was created for my friend Anna from Poland.  She has started designing her own line of beautiful patterned papers and they are GORGEOUS!  She was sweet enough to send some to me (can you believe that ... so generous) and ask me to be a guest designer on her blog 'ScrapAndMe'.   You can find her beautiful line of designer papers HERE.

For today's card I am using a portion of one of the 12x12 sheets  from her Sentimentals Paper Pack.  These designer papers are double sided and each sheet is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
I have also used a portion of this same paper to create my flowers and butterflies.  The dies I have used are as follows:

I've used Tim Holtz Oxide Distress 'Coral' ink for the coloring of the flower petals, sentiment, Peony and butterflies.  The Peony oval was die cut 4 times using the colored panel as my top panel.  I carefully colored the peony with a paint brush then filled in the outline with a white gelly roll pen.

I've also done multiple die cutting on the Mr. & Mrs. as well as the Bride & Groom so I could off set them to create a shadow.  I love how this adds extra dimension to my creations.

For the flowers I have shaped them using a foam pad and stylus.  Glued them together and used Nuvo 'Apple Green' crystal drops for the flower centers.  A touch of 'Diamond' Stickles has also been used here and there for a touch of sparkle.

What a fabulous time I had creating today but  I must admit ... it's really difficult to cut into this paper ... it's SO PRETTY and I can't decide which side I want to create with ... sigh!   I have a hunch I might be hoarding some of these papers ... LOL!

I hope you have enjoyed today's share!  And, just so you know, I will have another card to share for Anna very soon using papers from a different pack.  So, stay tuned!  LOL
