Crafty Secrets Challenge

Good RAINY DAY morning to you!  Well, at least it's raining here in N.E. Ohio this morning!  That's okay ... how's the saying go ???   APRIL SHOWERS bring MAY FLOWERS!  I'm okay with that!!!

Today's Crafty Secrets Forum Challenge over on SCS takes us back to the very first challenge that was a SKETCH CHALLENGE hosted by Anna Wight and showcased a card by Lisa Zappa.  It's a very simple sketch and here is what I came up with.

Here is the recipe for this creation:
Stamps:  Inkadinkado
Papers:  Garden Green cs, Crafty Secrets Earthy designer paper
Inks:  Versafine black, Ranger Vintage Photo
Accessories:  Image from the Crafty Secrets Childhood booklet, distresser, Mrs. Grossman sticker stitching, sponge, detail clear embossing powder.

Another card I made recently and would like to share with you is this Sympathy card.  I haven't done the "Cracked Glass" technique for a very long time and while playing with that technique, this is what I've come up with.
Here is the recipe for this card:
Stamps:  SU French Script, Penny Black, The Stamp Pad Co.
Papers:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Rust
Inks:  Versafine black, White Brillance
Accessories:  Nestabilities Classic & Scallop Ovals, UTEE, Creative Memories Metallic pens, Hobby Lobby Ribbon, Kaiser half pearls
Techniques:  Faux Stitching, Cracked Glass

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I'll be back later with my creation for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge.  Have a great day!!
