A Floral Birthday

Hello Friends and Happy Weekend!
While I'm waiting for Spring to REALLY show up & stick around, (the past couple of days were just a tease by what the forecast shows), I thought I'd create a pretty floral card to share with you today.

My design was inspired by the new sketch challenge over on the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog and of course I added just a few additional touches (corners & flowers) to make it my own.

Here's a list of the dies I have used which are from the Dies R Us Store :

Sue Wilson Designs - Scandinavian Collection - Corner, Border, tag

The background paper I used is also from the DRU Store.  It's by Carta Bella and called Flora.
Carta Bella - Paper Pad - 6

A few prima flowers with white Nuvo Crystal Drops and my card is ready to mail.
Nuvo Crystal Drops - Gloss White

I really enjoy creating from a sketch ... it really helps me get my mojo started.  I could have added more but didn't want to over power it since I wanted to be sure and keep it a 1-stamp mailable card.

A few other challenges to share in are:
Watercolor Wednesday Challenge #165 - All About Occasions
Ellibelle's Creative Moments April Challenge - Say it with Flowers + Sentiment
That's Crafty Challenge - Going Round in Circles
Everybody Art Challenge - use a die

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you've found inspiration in today's design!

As Always . . .
