Love Those Pretty Papers August 2025 Challenge

 Hello Dear Friends

It's a new month and that means it's time for a new challenge over on our
LOVE THOSE PRETTY PAPERS blog.

Today, our OPTIONAL theme is
Summertime
.

Diane & I will be sharing a Themed pretty paper card as well as an Anything Goes card.

Here's my card using today's THEME:

I bought these fun Summertime papers while visiting BFF Diane (Nellie's Nest) several years ago and thought they were perfect for today's card.  The popsicle paper is a full 12x12 sheet also but I simply fussy cut a strip then matted it with a scrap of card stock and fussy cut again.

I created my sentiment by die cutting the letters then laying it out crossword style.

Now for my 2nd card (anything goes) ...

This card is simply an A-6 size panel cut from one of the MANY 12x12 Heartfelt Creations paper packs I purchased when they closed down their brick & mortar store in Indiana.  All I did was add the Picket Fence sentiment.  Easy Peasy!

I hope you've enjoyed what I created to inspire you today!  Please come join our fun and show us what you have created using pretty patterned papers.

Thanks for stopping by and as always . . .

TOB August 2025 Challenge

Hello friends and thanks for stopping by today!

It's time once again for a new monthly challenge over on the
Two Old Bats Halloween Blog!

Just wait until you see what the team has created ... OMG!!  And to help us get our mojo going, Diane (yep, my Old Bat partner) has created this fabulous inspiration board. . .

Here's what I've created for you today . . .

I was inspired today by the colors in the lower left corner image of our mood board.
I've used an old Rubbernecker stamp called 'Witch House Tag' (#667-03) which I don't see is available any longer on their site ... like said, this is an OLD stamp lol.

After creating the background sky using various TH distress inks, I stamped my witch house using my stamping platform so I could get a good image then added a fun rub on trick or treater!

Just to refresh your memory ... here's a recap of how things are done on our blog.

 Monthly Challenge

  • Start on the 2nd of the month
  • Ends on the 28th of the month
  • Winners chosen by the DT
  • Winners announced on the 1st of the month prior to start of next new challenge.

  • There will be PRIZES  if we have 25+ entries.

I hope you've enjoyed today's share and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hope to see you there!

Have a SPOOKTACULAR DAY
and PLEASE be sure to tell your friends about this challenge!!

As always . . .

August - First Cup Challenge Time

It's time once again for a new challenge over on the new . . .

Remember to check out the rules for this fun new challenge in the TAB under the header over on the First Cup Challenge Blog titled 'But first ... some rules'.

Here's what I came up with for today's card . . .

Designer papers used for my background are from the Your Next Stamp 'Crazy for Coffee' paper pad.  This is a very old paper pad so might not be available any longer.

Dies used are Frantic Stamper 'Coffee to Go' die set FRA10659 and my sentiment was computer generated.

If you haven't yet checked out this new challenge owned/hosted by Deanne, you'll want to be sure to pop over and then play along!  I'm sure you have some goodies in your stash to create  with.

Thanks for stopping by and as always . . .

Four Seasons Challenge - Summer (8/2025)

 Hello Friends

This months theme is:

Anything Goes - Summer

check out this fabulous inspiration board we have created to help inspire you . . .

Inspired by the cute birds/birdhouse in the upper right corner of our inspiration board, I went through my selection of Hearty Crafts 3D Toppers and found this cutie in their 'Bird Houses' set (HC13077).

By using a panel of 'sky' designer paper and a sentiment, my card is ready to mail!

Please be sure to check out our other fun challenge blogs.
All the links can be found on the side bar.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Simply Clean & Simple (8/25) - Cute Animals

Hello my friends and welcome to my blog!

Today I have a card to share for our challenge blog using the CAS (clean & simple) design style.
Our blog is called Simply Clean & Simple and today's OPTIONAL theme is:

Cute Animals

I decided to play with some stickers that were hanging on my pegboard.  I used a large sponge dauber and TH ink to create the 'water' ... added my stickers (bubbles are stickers also) then computer generated the sentiment and die cut it.  Easy - Peasy but cute none the less!

Remember, our challenge is Anything Goes CLEAN & SIMPLE but we do offer an OPTIONAL theme.  You have until the 28th to share your CAS design into our challenge blog.

Hope to see you at SIMPLY CLEAN & SIMPLE!

As always . . .
