Stencil Fun Challenge (8/25) - Trees and/or Leaves

 Hello Everyone!

It's time for another fun challenge over on our Stencil Fun Challenge!

Remember, this challenge is all about using your STENCILS.
We are a MONTHLY challenge that begins on the FIRST TUESDAY of each month.
Theme will always be ANYTHING GOES USING STENCILS but we will also offer an OPTIONAL theme.

Here is the OPTIONAL theme chosen for this month:

 Trees and/or Leaves

 Product used:

Tim Holtz 'Birch' (THS-069) Stencil
Tim Holtz 'Walnut Stain' Distress Oxide ink
Large sponge dauber
Stampscapes rubber stamp sentiment

For my second card (Anything Goes),

The Ciao Bella 'Leaves' stencil was used in conjunction with 3 different TH distress oxide green inks to create the background for my card.

A simple sentiment (stamps from my Doni collection), a prima flower & a little bee that I believe is from a Hero Arts set that I've made several and have them in a little bag to grab when the mood strikes me ... like today lol.

Hopefully you'll get those stencils out and have some fun with us.
We won't always have a prize but periodically we will, you just never know!
We do have a Top 3 and a Top winner and it could be YOU!

Please come join us and GOOD LUCK!!
As always . . .

  1. Both cards are great stenciling, first card is what we can expect in the coming months, no leaves, and the second of course has my favorite big plump bee on it, well done my friend!!

  2. Both are so beautifully done! You achieved such a gorgeous shade of green with the mix of green Distress Oxides on the second card.

  3. Your stencils really are amazing. I love the birch trees on your first card, and totally agree with the sentiment. I recognize the bee on your second card and it's great that you've made up a bunch. Little things like that save time in the long run, and they do come in handy!

  5. Both cards showcase such thoughtful stencil work, each with its own distinct charm. The birch trees paired with the sentiment feel wonderfully reflective—like a quiet walk in the woods. And the second card’s layered greens and whimsical bee bring a fresh, joyful energy that’s hard to resist. Love how you’ve used stencils to create depth and emotion in such different ways.
