Wood Block Wednesday Challenge

Hello Friends

Amy Tsuruta has her Woodblock Wednesday challenge up and running and I've been trying to join in each month as it gives me the opportunity to play with all my old wooden block stamps which don't get the love they deserve since clear stamps came about.

The wood block stamps I've used today are 'Friends Forever' by Art Gone Wind and my sentiment stamp is by Hero Arts and called 'Time to Enjoy'.

The background paper I've used for today's card is from a Mintay 6x6 paper pack called 'Lovely Day'.  I've used Tombow markers to color these lovely ladies and Tutti Designs 'Scallop Stitched Rectangle' dies for the matting.  A few old Prima flowers with Nuvo Crystal Drop centers were added as an embellishment.

Why not pop over and check out her blog and play along ... you know you have wood block stamps that need some love just like I do!  LOL

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day ahead!!
As always . . .

  4. Hey, I still have that Hero Arts woodblock sentiment. The Mintay paper, too. Love how you added the cute little flower border under the ladies. They're looking more like my friends every day!

  6. What a joyful trio of friends—your coloring brings them to life so beautifully, and the sentiment is the perfect touch of warmth and whimsy. I love how the scalloped matting frames the scene, and those Prima flowers with the Nuvo centers add such a sweet, nostalgic charm. This card feels like a celebration of friendship and creativity all in one!
