Can You Handle the Pressure - Twist - Floral

Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!

We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog and the TWIST theme is ...

Floral

Remember, the twist is optional but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the prize.  Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with an embossing folder.

Here's what I've created to inspire you today.

Today I've used a 3D embossing folder by Lisa Horton called 'Camellia Cluster' (LHCEF043).  After embossing my panel, I then used the coordinating die cut and cut it out and adhered it to my card front.  I used my small finger daubers and what ever ink was left in them for the coloring.  Coordinating Nuvo crystal drops & and sentiment ... VIOLA card ready for mailing.

I do hope you'll come check out our challenge blog and play along.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
I appreciate it more than you'll ever know!!

As always . . .

Double D - Designer Paper

 Hello Dear Friends!

It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!

Here's today's theme:

Designer Paper
May is national scrapbook month
so if you are a scrapbooker (I'm not) feel free to do
a scrapbook page using some of your pretty designer paper

and here's an inspiration board created to help get you started . . .

OMG!  I have SO MANY beautiful designer papers ... what to choose??

I decided on one of the MANY 12x12 Heartfelt Creations paper packs I purchased when they were closing the brick & mortar store.   OKAY ... so I stretched the truth a bit lol ... it was actually my N.C. friend Sandy who bought double of what they had reduced in price, KNOWING I would be interested in buying them from HER when she came to visit last April.   Either way, I have a LOT of beautiful papers and the nice thing about Heartfelt Creations, is that their paper packs also had coordinating sheets of tags, journaling notes, etc to go with your card ... such as what I've used on my card today.

The only additional elements are the Nuvo crystal drops!

You'll want to be sure to pop over to the Double D Challenge Blog to see all the details and amazing samples offered up by our VERY TALENTED design team ladies!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope to see you at Double D!

  As always . . .

Stencil Fun Challenge (5/25) - Bouquet

 Hello Everyone!

It's time for another fun challenge over on our Stencil Fun Challenge!

Remember, this challenge is all about using your STENCILS.
We are a MONTHLY challenge that begins on the FIRST TUESDAY of each month.
Theme will always be ANYTHING GOES USING STENCILS but we will also offer an OPTIONAL theme.

Here is the OPTIONAL theme chosen for this month:

Bouquet

The stencil used for this card is a metal stencil by Del Bello's Designs - Sweet Poppy - 'Poppy' (SP1-135).  I've used TH distress oxide inks for the coloring.  Tombow marker was used for the faux stitching, Lea'bilitiers 'Bows' (45-4520) for the bow die cut from a scrap of white card stock colored with the same Tombow marker used for the faux stitching.  For a final dimensional element I've used Nuvo crystal drops.

For my second card (Anything Goes),

Creative Expressions 'Butterfly in Flight' Mini Stencil

Stampabilities 'Music in my Heart' (CR1058)
Rubberstampede 'Music Notes' (A25878)

Hopefully you'll get those stencils out and have some fun with us.
We won't always have a prize but periodically we will, you just never know!
We do have a Top 3 and a Top winner and it could be YOU!

Please come join us and GOOD LUCK!!
As always . . .
