May All Your Weeds be Wildflowers

 Happy Friday All!

Today I've created a card to share over on the Alphabet Challenge Blog  where the alphabet letter is 'W for Wildflowers'.   What a fun idea and I could have gone in SO MANY directions for this one but I settled for an easy encouragement card.

I've die cut a Tutti Designs Stitched Scallop Rectangle panel to use as my masking and temporarily adhered it to my card front panel.  Next I used 3 shades of green Tim Holtz distress oxide inks and ink blended around my rectangle mask.  Removed the masking panel and stamped this old but pretty Just For Fun 'wildflower' stamp.  The sentiment is another old wood block stamp by the Rosebud Rubber Stamp company.  Lime Green Nuvo crystal drops were also used for an added accent.

  4. Beautiful ink blending and I love the oldie but goodie wildflower stamp! I also especially love how your sentiment looks stamped in the corner with the way the mask as opposed to a mat allows the overlap.
