Happy Monday All . . .
Today I've created a card for the new sketch challenge offered over on the Try A Sketch on Tuesday blog (ends 6/21). ✓ Here's the sketch we're playing with today . . .

I had some black/white scraps laying on my work station left over from a couple graduation cards I created for my neighbor the other day and thought I could do something with those. Here's what I came up with . . .
zoo animal die cuts from The Paper Studio purchased at Hobby Lobby . . .
design paper is a pack from Altenew called 'Essential Black & White paper pack',
the circle is a scallop circle die set by Tutti Designs,
sentiment strip is from and OLD Creative Expressions Wordie Birthday
sheet purchased at Scrapbook.com.

I was just admiring this sketch on someone else's blog, and now I'm loving it again here! I may have to save it for later. Love the black and white papers and, of course, the perfect companion for them. I like how you placed your sentiment, too. Cute, Darlene!
ReplyDeleteawww, he is too cute, great use of your scraps too!
ReplyDeleteWonderful design with the angled striped paper strips. Perfect background for that sweet Panda. Thanks for sharing with A Cut Above's June Challenge. Happy to have you play along.
ReplyDeleteCAS and love that you used black and white only, the papers and image all pop equally. Thank you for sharing your handsome card with us at TSOT. Just a reminder you may want to enter your card at our sister challenge at Double Trouble as you have met the requirement of Thing 1's 3-2-1 recipe "My Guy" ( 3 washi or paper scraps, 2 die cuts and 1-masculine card). https://doubletroublechallenge.blogspot.com/2026/06/Challenge-218.html Hope to see you there.
ReplyDeleteOh Dar, I LOVE this card!! The black and white stripe is so classy, and that little panda is simply adorable. Lots of fabulous work here, and great take on the challenge. Thanks so much for playing along with us over at A Cut Above, I hope we see you back again soon!
