Wood Block Wednesday (August)

  Hello Friends

Amy Tsuruta unfortunately does NOT have her Woodblock Wednesday challenge up and running but I've been trying to join in each month as it gives me the opportunity to play with all my old wooden block stamps which don't get the love they deserve since clear stamps came about.  
Hopefully she will have the challenge posted soon as promised and when she does, I'll be ready!  LOL
 
 
 Today I've used one of the stamps from an old 2003 Stampin' Up set that I bought off a friend at a Stamp Sale.


 I started out by creating my background by using this same stamp.  My focus image was coloring using Tombow markers and I've used a couple scrap strips of SU card stock to create my design.  A few little Nuvo drops were used as an accent.
  

Why not pop over and check out her blog and play along ... you know you have wood block stamps that need some love just like I do!  LOL

    I had that stamp set once upon a time and loved it well! You've done it proud with your use of it for background stamping as well as focal image!
