Four Seasons Challenge - Fall (9/2026)

Over at the Four Seasons Challenge Blog, we are ready for a change in seasons! 
This months theme is:

Anything Goes - Fall

 Today's card is inspired by our little squirrel friend in the upper right corner.  I had a few images from a 12x12 paper pack in my stash and this little guy was among them.  I matted it in blue to bring out the background sky color in the image.  

 The embossed background was created using the Simon Says Stamps 'Wispy Pine Needle Frame'  (#SF546).  I've used a small sponge dauber and TH distress inks to add a little color.

 

 I've added a few Scrapbook.com 'Autumn' leaves and acorns as an accent.

    Super cute fall card, we have been seeing lots of squirrels lately but mostly the black ones which we used to never have, they are quite 'feisty' , anyhow a pretty fall card!!

    OMGosh, I love this with the pine needle embossing surrounding that beautiful squirrel! Your leaves and acorns make the best accents, too!

    Love the embossed pine needle framing - so pretty in the brown with the colorful leaf and acorn and framing the happy little squirrel perched on the tree branch! Julia xx
