Double D - Christmas Trees

 Hello Dear Friends!

It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Here's today's theme:

Christmas Trees

and here's an inspiration board created to help get you started . . .

Awhile back I saw everyone doing this 'Fractured Card Technique' and I didn't do much with it at the time but thought it would be a fun technique to use for today's card so that's exactly what I did!

I used the Sue Wilson Festive Collection -Winter Trees for my focus Christmas tree.  I die cut it twice and off set for dimension.  Then added some diamond Stickles for sparkle.

I have a drawer full of older Stampin' Up holiday designer paper so I looked through there and found a couple that I thought would fit today's theme.  Hope you like it ... I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

Remember, it's a random draw for the winner so it could be YOU!!

Our prize offering today is this fun tree die set . . .

You'll want to be sure to pop over to the Double D Challenge Blog to see all the details and amazing samples offered up by our VERY TALENTED design team ladies!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope to see you at Double D!

  As always . . .

  4. I too saw this fractured card technique and wanted to try it. Why I didn't I am not sure. But you have inspired me and now I am going to make a list so that I don't forget again. I love your choice of patterned paper and with the red and green makes for a fabulous Christmas card. <3

  5. You're so good about using your designer papers, and this fractured card is the perfect way to do it. I have this technique, or one like it, bookmarked along with many other techniques I want to try. Color me slow on the uptake, sheesh.

  8. I love this technique for framing an image, and this turned out great with the traditional colors of Christmas and those whimsical tree images on the designer papers. Way to showcase that cute Christmas tree perfectly!
