Embrace Life

Hello friends ... welcome back to my blog.

Today I've created a card for the Addicted to CAS challenge #303 - Garden  (ends 3/20) .
I used to make cards with a lot of layers because the CAS design style intimidated me.  In fact, I even joined a CAS design team to help me get more comfortable with this style.  Now I find myself making as many CAS as Layered cards primarily due to the cost of postage these day!  UGH ... out of control!!

Anyways ... here's what I came with for their 'garden' theme.

I have several colors of roses in my garden so when I spotted the sheet of the Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby) rose stickers ( Real Spring Flowers #700633) hanging on the pegboard I immediately knew what I wanted to do.

To showcase my roses I die cut the largest die in the Paper Rose (#16679) Stitched Rectangle Frames die set to create a frame.  This is one of my favorite (go to) frame die sets.   The sentiment is from an old Stampin' Up wood block stamp set and the butterflies come from a Scrapbook.com clear stamp set.  White Nuvo Crystal Drops were used for added dimension.
