Stencil Fun Challenge (5/2026) - See Through It

Hello Everyone!

It's time for another fun challenge over on our Stencil Fun Challenge!

Remember, this challenge is all about using your STENCILS.
We are a MONTHLY challenge that begins on the FIRST TUESDAY of each month.
Theme will always be ANYTHING GOES USING STENCILS but we will also offer an OPTIONAL theme.

Here is the OPTIONAL theme chosen for this month:

 See Through It

To satisfy our optional SEE THRU IT theme, I've created a window on the outside of a stone wall.  The stone wall stencil is another one by Tim Holtz.  After doing the stenciling I die cut a smaller rectangle from my 'wall' in order to pop up and add my window.   The window was die cut twice with a panel of clear acetate sandwiched in between.

Other products used:

Frantic Stamper - Cute Kitten
Sue Wilson - 3D Window Box (CED22003)
Poppy Stamps - Grand Madison Window die (815)

The window curtains were created with a scrap of designer paper laying on the worktable.

For my second card (Anything Goes)

This CAS card uses the Clear Scraps 6x6 'Bubbles' stencil and TH distress oxide ink.  It immediately made me think of the Don Ho song 'Tiny Bubbles' so I used the first verse of that song for my computer generated sentiment.

Hopefully you'll get those stencils out and have some fun with us.
We won't always have a prize but periodically we will, you just never know!
We do have a Top 3 and a Top winner and it could be YOU!

Please come join us and GOOD LUCK!!
As always . . .

  1. Oh, my gosh, look at that kitty by the window -- so happy and cute -- and what fun window box accessories to play with! The stone wall is perfect. I'm having a flashback to that Don Ho song. Geez, am I that old? That's a pretty great card for any celebratory occasion!

  2. Your first card is so sweet, love how you did the curtain in the window with the pretty flowers and that cat is just the cutest. Great idea for the challenge on the second!

  3. Such a creative interpretation of the see through theme, and the stone wall stenciling with the popped up window creates a wonderful sense of depth while the layered acetate panes, soft curtains, and sweet kitten make the whole scene feel warm and inviting, with the bubbly second card adding a fun and playful contrast.
