Hello Friends
Hopefully she will have the challenge posted soon as promised and when she does, I'll be ready! LOL
Hello Friends
Happy Monday!
A quick card to share with you today.
I've been having so much fun in the past couple of months creating backgrounds with my scraps using various techniques. One of those techniques is the 'fractured cards' technique.
I spotted the challenge over on 52 Christmas Card Throwdown that was for 'Fractured Cards' so I went through my collection of backgrounds and created this card. This challenge ends Friday, Sept. 4th.
Papers: Various Christmas scraps, SU card stock
Dies: Tutti Designs 'Happy', Crafter's Companion 'Gemini - Holiday' stamp/die set
Accessories: White gelly roll pen for faux stitching
The sentiment was die cut twice ... once in white & once in red then I off set them to add dimension.
Such a great way to use up some of the mountain of scraps we all have!

Hello friends!
It's time again for a fun new challenge over on the Pick 3 Challenge Blog.
Here's this months Elements Board . . .
The elements I've chosen today are:
Stamping - Polka Dots - Orange
I had to think about this one for awhile but am very happy with the outcome!!
I've used Scrapbook Customs 'Rainbow Plaid' designer paper. This is 6x6, 2-sided and when I cut the portion off the side for my A6 card, I simply flipped it over and used the other side as a part of my design.
Next I wanted to stamp directly onto the designer paper and went with one of the stamps from a very old Stampin' Up set called 'Toile Blossoms' (circa 2002). After stamping, I used an orange Tombow marker to color in the flower and green for the leaves.
My sentiment comes from my 'Doni Collection' (Doni is my friend who passed away almost 2 years ago and left me all her stamps ... in case you were wondering what that was all about) ... it's by Deep Red stamp company and called 'Random Outbursts'. I used old Stampin' Up Pumpkin Spice ink to stamp it.
Don't ask me where this Bee Stamp came from ... I had it sitting on top of my case of sponge daubers so figured I'd add him in too! A BONUS element you might say! LOL
This is such a fun challenge to create for!
Half the work is already done for you once you choose your 3 elements!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
I appreciate it more than you'll ever know!!

Hello Dear Friends!
Happy Wednesday All!
I have always enjoyed playing along in the sketch challenges. I got hooked on them when I was more frequently involved over on Splitcoast Stampers. Over the years as I needed a design idea, my mind always went to looking through various sketches for said ideas.
Well I have a few favorite sketch challenges and the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog is one of them!! Here's they are offering for their challenge #695 . . . (ends 8/21). ✓
If you follow my blog you already know I've been obsessed lately with using up scraps of card stock and designer papers. I have created SEVERAL background panels (which you will see through out 2027 as well as the remainder of this year).
For this card I have used scraps of SU card stock that I have left over from cutting card bases (I create A6 cards so always have scraps) as well as a designer scrap.
Product used:
Papers: Stampin' Up, Brutus Monroe 'Coralreefs'
Dies: Tutti Designs 'Stitched Scallop Circles'
Accessories: Soto Studios 'Summer Coast' starfish stickers, White Nuvo Crystal Drops

I have a card for you today that was created for the color challenge over on the Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #715 using these colors. ✓

I went through my SU scraps and found these exact colors but once again my phone camera wants to make the colors 'brighter' than they actually are ... grrr. Oh well I like the card and it will be good to have in my sale boxes for November.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
I appreciate it more than you'll ever know!!
As always . . .
Here's a fun inspiration board we've created to help get you started ...
I recently purchased a 'different' (for me as I'm a traditionalist) sort of holiday papers and thought it might work for today's inspiration board suggestions. What do you think?

I paired it with an Adirondack chair die by IO that's been in my stash for years and die cut it from red card stock. Then I cut the sentiment from one of the little square images in the set and matted it with scraps of red & green card stock.
Did you spot the Christmas presents in the lower left corner?
PLEASE be sure to pop over to THE BLOG and check out the amazing designs our design team has created for your inspiration. What a group of talented ladies!! Then come join in the fun!!

Hello All
Can you believe we have come to the end of yet another week! Good grief they are going by fast!! I was working on some scrap backgrounds and thought I'd quickly join in on the color challenge over on The Paper Players blog. Here's the colors for this #798 challenge which is ending in the next couple of hours.

I can't tell you how many photos I tool trying to get the blues to show correctly but then finally gave up! The fact that I now have to take my photos with my phone (camera died), you'd think I'd get true colors but NOoooo ... grrr! But rest assured, I did use these exact colors!
You can see at the bottom of my card where the teal is teal vs royal blue (as it looks on the top).
Anyways, I created the background using up scraps and added a sentiment from the Katy Sue Birthday Peelables I purchased on Amazon. The chipboard flower is from the Paper Studio, purchase at Hobby Lobby.
Here's wishing you a fabulous weekend ahead!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
