Peace on Earth Challenge #82

Hello Friends and welcome back to my blog!
SO happy you stopped by!

Today I have a card to share for the new challenge over on the PEACE ON EARTH CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG.  Of course the theme is Anything Christmas and we hope you'll come join in the fun!

Here's a fun inspiration board we've created to help get you started ...

My sister loves horses and has had several over her lifetime so I thought I'd use this image I found on Pinterest and create her holiday card for this year.  My daughter actually has a horse that looks very much like this one ... his name is Indy.  Isn't he beautiful?

 Back to the card . . .

I used wood planking background paper and at the bottom I stamped a couple fence post groupings using the Stampscapes 'old fence' (#293C).

My sentiment, old SU (A cardinal Christmas) stamp was stamped onto a scrap of white card stock then die cut using one of my favorite die sets, Sue Wilson 'tags' (CED4317)

I finished it off by adding a few snowflakes from the Hunkydory 'Let It Snow' (MSTONE039) die set.

PLEASE be sure to pop over to THE BLOG and check out the amazing designs our design team has created for your inspiration.  What a group of talented ladies!!  Then come join in the fun!!

As always ... thanks again for stopping by!

  5. That's a beautiful image of a horse (and your daughter's horse is beautiful too - lucky her to have her own horse. I've never been able to have my own but have ridden for years and only just gave it up a couple of years ago. Now I get my horse time by volunteering with therapeutic riding for kids with disabilities.) Love the way you embellished the image and the background paper with stamping and die cuts.
