Hello Dear Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Here's today's theme:
Trick or Treat
Smell My Feet
Give Me Something Good To Eat
Smell My Feet
Give Me Something Good To Eat
(let the words inspire you, Example: trick or treaters, something
that smells [even animals sniff and smell or so does an apple pie],
something with feet, something good to eat [Ice cream, candy, fruit] Just let your imagine run with it!
and here's an inspiration board created to help get you started . . .
My inspiration today came from the words 'Something Good To Eat!'
Everyone know that FRUIT is not only good for you but tastes good too, so that's the direction my card went in today.
I took a variety of 'fruit' related designer paper scraps and created my background. Then I went to my sticker book for my image. The sentiment was computer generated then die cut using one of the dies from the Sue Wilson 'Frames & Tags - Stitched Flags' (CED4317).
I just had to share the remainder of this statement that is on the inside . . .
You'll want to be sure to pop over to the Double D Challenge Blog to see all the details and amazing samples offered up by our VERY TALENTED design team ladies!!
Your card is so refreshing and sweet.... until you open it and read the sentiment. It almost made me spit out my coffee! What a fun card for fall.

ReplyDeleteHaha, what a fun card, won't the person that receives this be surprised when they open it, great papers you have used too!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely serene scene on your card. Quite the opposite from Halloween and I love it!

Love that beautiful apple orchard scene with the apple paper behind it! These days it's hard to get a doctor to see you even without throwing an apple, sheesh. My neighbor friend's apple tree is looking ready to harvest. Mmmmm, love the smell of applesauce cooking in the crockpot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful orchard scene and fun sentiment! Made me LOL for sure!
ReplyDeleteOK first of all you and I thought about Food instead of Halloween. You made a beautiful card front and knocked my socks off with sentiment inside. I love your take on this challenge
ReplyDeleteI like the use of the different apple themed papers, that is a cool image to go with them. I had to laugh at the inside sentiment :)
ReplyDeleteYour background is wonderful, I LOVE that technique and use it often. Great choice of patterned papers, and your focal is perfect for the challenge. Great card!!!
