Neglected Stuff

 Hello friends!

Today I have a project to share that was created for our newest
NEGLECTED STUFF CHALLENGE.

 The NEGLECTED Stuff I've used today are this Stamping Sensations stamp and the Cheery Lynn Designs corner dies.

    

As you can see, this stamp set has never been inked up so it's ABOUT TIME it was shown some love!  lol

 

 

 This Cheery Lynn Designs die set has been used occasionally but not for a VERY LONG time and I know the one die has never been used.  I actually bought 2 sets so I could cut a 'set' at the same time when I did get around to using them.  Cheery Lynn Designs is no longer in business under that name.

 

 I used my Tombow markers, water & an artist brush for the coloring on this image then highlighted it using the marker direct to the paper.  I happened to have some scraps of these two colors in my scrap pile so I decided to cut 1/2" strips and create my background.

Ooops, almost forgot, White Nuvo crystal drops were used for the accent.

Peace on Earth Challenge #85

Today I have a card to share for the new challenge over on the PEACE ON EARTH CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG.  Of course the theme is Anything Christmas and we hope you'll come join in the fun! 

Here's a fun inspiration board we've created to help get you started ...

 Today's card was inspired by the snowman face in the lower left corner of the inspiration board.   I had this donation card laying on my work table and thought it would make a good backdrop for Mr. Snowman.  The die set I've used for my snowman is by Hunkydory, called 'Do You Want to Build a Snowman' (#MSTONE036).  The branch in the upper right corner of my card comes from another Hunkydory set called 'Festive Fairies (#MSTONE030). 

 I die cut my Penny Black 'Winter Cheer' (#51-255) sentiment from white & red card stock then off set them so they would stand out a bit more.

Love Those Pretty Papers April 2025 Challenge

 

  Hello Dear Friends

It's a new month and that means it's time for a new challenge over on our
LOVE THOSE PRETTY PAPERS blog.

Today, our OPTIONAL theme is
SPRINGTIME.
 
Diane & I will be sharing a Themed pretty paper card as well as an Anything Goes card.

 Here's my card using today's THEME:

 ( Inside )

Violet Fragrance 6x6 designer paper
Sizzix Oval dies
Stampin' Up (circa 1999) sentiment stamp (front)
Computer generated sentiment (inside)

 

 And, here is my 2nd card (anything goes) ...

 

 

 Use the beautiful Mintay 'Springtime' 6x6 designer paper for the background
and my focus image is from a sheet of Vintage Jars purchased
through Etsy (long ago) and fussy cut.

I've scored along the right edge and lower left corner for dimension
and also added a few pink Nuvo crystal drops.

Simply Clean & Simple (4/25) - Umbrellas

 Hello my friends and welcome to my blog!

Today I have a card to share for our challenge blog using the CAS (clean & simple) design style. 
Our blog is called Simply Clean & Simple and today's OPTIONAL theme is:

Umbrellas

Today's card was created using dies from the Sue Wilson 'Rain or Shine' (CED23017 ) set and the sentiment is a die from Frantic Stamper (FRA 9402) obviously called Spring.

Remember, our challenge is Anything Goes CLEAN & SIMPLE but we do offer an OPTIONAL theme.  You have until the 28th to share your CAS design into our challenge blog.
