Hello Friends!
Have you checkout our challenge blog called TRIPLE B?
It's
all about using any of your stash but your project must have at least a
BIRD, a BUTTERFLY or BLOOMS (flowers) visible on it. Hence the title
Triple B.
Here's this months inspiration board ...
Here's what I've come up with . . .
I really dug deep into my stash for this bird stamp!
I've probably had this wooden block stamp for 20 years (Sugarloafproducts - circa 2003) and MAYBE inked it up once or twice! But it was exactly what I had in mind for today's theme. Large enough to stand alone or colored. After stamping, I used my swivel craft knife and fussy cut the image.

Using black card stock I die cut my 'frame' using the Tutti Designs scalloped stitched rectangle die set. Placed it over a b/w gingham designer paper from an old the Paper Studio paper pack called 'The Blue Barn' that I purchased at Hobby Lobby years ago. Then I cut out the inside black panel using a smaller die from the set in order to make my bird stand out. A few White Nuvo Drops and my card is complete. You could use this design for just about any occasion ... I'll figure that out later.

So elegant and pretty in the black and white, about time you brought that fabulous stamp back out, lol, love the buffalo plaid in the background too!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great stamp and I love that black and white! I want to go play right now, but not today... the to-do list is getting away from me!
ReplyDeletePretty black and white theme, the stamp does look great on it's own uncolored, I never think of that.
