Peace on Earth Challenge #111

Hello Friends and welcome back to my blog!

SO happy you stopped by!

Today I have a card to share for the new challenge over on the PEACE ON EARTH CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG.  Of course the theme is Anything Christmas and we hope you'll come join in the fun!

Here's a fun inspiration board we've created to help get you started ...

OMG ... what a fun board to create with ... but I must admit, I'm very much a traditionalist and struggle with soft colors for Christmas.  But my younger sister would LOVE these colors!

Here's what I've come up with today ... hope you like it!

I actually spotted this paper at Hobby Lobby (8 1/2 x 11 sheet) and thought it would work!  I simply matted a panel with kraft paper and hand cut/designed a gingerbread man for my sentiment panel.  VIOLA!

My stamped sentiment is from an older Hero Arts stamp set and I've used a Tombow marker for the face/design on my gingerbread man.

PLEASE be sure to pop over to THE BLOG and check out the amazing designs our design team has created for your inspiration.  What a group of talented ladies!!  Then come join in the fun!!

As always ... thanks again for stopping by!

  4. This worked out just perfectly! What a cute little gingerbread village, and I can't believe you made your own gingerbread man for the sentiment. Clever you!

  5. Such a cheerful Christmas moment in your gingerbread design, and the pastel village paper creates a sweet backdrop while the hand cut gingerbread figure with the Tombow details adds a personal, heartfelt touch that makes the whole card feel warm and festive.
