Can You Handle the Pressure - Twist - Butterflies

Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!

We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog and the TWIST theme is ...

Butterflies

Remember, the twist is optional but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the prize.  Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with an embossing folder.

Here's what I've created to inspire you today.

I have used the Lisa Horton 'Rambling Woodgrain Rose' 3D (5x7) embossing folder.

After cutting my A6 panel to size, I ran it through my machine then used a TH purple finger dauber to do my coloring.  From a scrap of deep purple card stock, I punched out butterflies using an old Martha Stewart 3-in-1 butterfly punch.  Viola!

I do hope you'll come check out our challenge blog and play along.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
I appreciate it more than you'll ever know!!

As always . . .

  1. Oh, my word, how did this gorgeous embossing folder ever escape my attention? Flowers on woodgrain? Seriously? I'm in love! It's especially striking with just the roses colored, and you did it so beautifully with your finger dauber. Absolutely stunning!
