Hello Dear Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Here's today's theme:
CHRISTMAS WRAPPINGS
(Christmas bows, ribbons, tags, packages,
xmas designer paper counts as xmas wrapping paper
just have fun with it)
(Christmas bows, ribbons, tags, packages,

and here's an inspiration board created to help get you started . . .
Today, I chose to use actual Christmas Wrapping Paper for my card. I had several different sheets that came in the mail from companies we make contributions to so thought 'why not!' lol.
(It looks like 2 different colors but it's the difference in the light over top of my cutting station and my light box ... the color is actually more green.)
By cutting a couple strips of red card stock from my scrap pile, I was able to create my package 'ribbon' wrapping. Then I created a bow using an old (no longer in business) Cheery Lynn 'pretty pretty bow' die. My tag is the smallest die in the Sue Wilson 'Frames & Tags - Pierced Tags' (CED4305) set.
The sentiment came from an old Simple Stores 'Jingle All the Way' stamp set.
A few green & red Nuvo Crystal Drops and this card is ready to mail.
You'll want to be sure to pop over to the Double D Challenge Blog to see all the details and amazing samples offered up by our VERY TALENTED design team ladies!!
