Love Those Pretty Papers December 2025 Challenge

  Hello Dear Friends

It's a new month and that means it's time for a new challenge over on our
LOVE THOSE PRETTY PAPERS blog.

Today, our OPTIONAL theme is
SANTA
.

Diane & I will be sharing a Themed pretty paper card as well as an Anything Goes card.

Here's my card using today's THEME:

The background paper is from an OLD (circa 2010)  Graphic45 8x8 paper pad called 'Christmas Past' and my Santa image actually comes from a Paper Rose 12x12 sheet from their 'Christmas Time' pack.

I double matted the Santa image and added a gold glitter poinsettia as my embellishment.
VIOLA

With all the beautiful papers out there, it's quick & easy to create a beautiful holiday card such as this!

Now for my 2nd card (anything goes) ...

While making tissue box covers for a recent craft show, I decided to use the scraps and create some background panels.  Love how this one came together along with an image from one of my holiday designer paper packs.  Easy peasy but I think looks VERY festive.

Here are a few of the backgrounds I made that day  . . .

I hope you've enjoyed what I created to inspire you today!  Please come join our fun and show us what you have created using pretty patterned papers.

Thanks for stopping by and as always . . .

  2. Well, I certainly do love these pretty papers and you've combined them with the images beautifully. Love the vintage vibe on your first card. As for your second, I'm always impressed with how well you use your scraps in this technique You know what an addict I am. I'm promising myself to make up a few of these when things settle down here.
