Artsystamper Challenge - Winter is Coming

Hello my friends!

It's time for a new challenge over on the Artsystamper Challenge Blog where the team is showcasing digital images designed by Beverly Cole at The Artsystamper Shop!   The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month brings another Artsystamper Challenge and today's theme is:

WINTER IS COMING!

Just a heads up ... this will be the LAST CHALLENGE at the Artsystamper Challenge Blog.
Bev will still be designing and have her Etsy shop but the challenge will be closing for now.

Today, with the help of Microsoft Word10 and Beverly's amazing digital images, I've created this fun and beautiful slimline card for you ... hope you like it!

I have never grown an Amaryllis plant but I used to work next to a gentlemen who every holiday season had one growing in his cubicle and I would watch it develop from a bulb to a beautiful flower such as the one Beverly has drawn for you here in this digital stamp set titled after the name of this beautiful flower . . .  Amaryllis

I've also used one of the beautiful designs from Bev's  Christmas Joy paper pack for my background.  I must admit that I modified the color just a bit so this beautiful single stem flower would really be the focus of my card.  I've also created the oval shape through Word10.

To add a touch of dimension & sparkle, I've die cut two snow flake panels using the Sue Wilson 'Festive Collection - Frosty Snowflake Border ... centered each panel across the top & bottom of my card then cut off what hung over the sides.  A touch of Nuvo Glitter Drops 'Golden Sunset' gave me just that little touch of sparkle I was looking for.

You do NOT have to use Beverly's images (of course we would love to see them if you have them) ... but you must follow the theme to qualify for the prize.
PRIZE you say . . .

YEP ... The winner of our challenges will receive the stamp set of their choice from TheArtsystamperShop.  Beverly Cole's selections offer stamps and sentiments in each set as well as pre-colored images for easy, last minute cards.  Why not take a moment and check out what she has in the shop!!  And there's more new images/papers coming in the weeks ahead!!

Artsystamper Challenge - Bags N Tags

 Hello my friends!

It's time for a new challenge over on the Artsystamper Challenge Blog where the team is showcasing digital images designed by Beverly Cole at The Artsystamper Shop!   The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month brings another Artsystamper Challenge and today's theme is:

 BAGS 'N' TAGS

Bev has some wonderful holiday papers, images, sentiments so here's what I've created for you today.  You just never know at holiday time when you might need a gift bag to share maybe some home baked goodies or who knows what ... I'll be ready with this sweet combo!

The set I used for the bag is this beautiful

My white bag is one I purchased at the local dollar store then created the panel using Microsoft Word10.   I measured my bag front and adjusted my page size in Word first.  Then I laid out my poinsettia and sentiment the size I wanted before dropping in my background paper and setting it to the BACK behind my images.  Next I printed it out onto a regular sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white card stock and cut it down to the bag size (which was 7 1/2 x 9).    Lastly I used a white gelly roll pen and did a little faux stitching along the petals of the poinsettia for contrast.

For my tag, I once again decided which tag die size I wanted to use on my bag handle and adjusted my paper size in Word before inserting my images.  I've used the same poinsettia paper for the background but for my Santa & Sentiment, I turned to the Sweet Santa Digital Stamp Set and used the precolored images.  Bev colors far better than I do ... lol!

 Halloween Colors

The design team is showcasing a fun new set called 'SWEET SPIRITS'
so, you'll want to be sure and pop over to the challenge for some fun & amazing inspiration!

 Here's what I've come up with ...

Aren't these candies & carmel apples adorable and I think they're smiling because that pesky spider (sticker from my stash) is finally leaving!  LOL    Poor Mr. Treat Bag (sticker from my stash) up in the upper corner looks scared half out of his wits!

Behind all my 'happy' candy I've used digital background paper from the

Creating cards with these digital images is great fun!  It makes you 'think outside the box' as to how you want to place images, put them in the front or back, turn them around a bit, change the colors ... so many creative avenues you can take when creating with Bev's images.

I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun!

Artsystamper Challenge - Ribbons & Bows

Hello my friends!

It's time for a new challenge over on the Artsystamper Challenge Blog where the team is showcasing digital images designed by Beverly Cole at The Artsystamper Shop!   The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month brings another Artsystamper Challenge
and today's theme is:

Ribbons & Bows

Today, the DT is using a variety of images/papers from Beverly's Etsy shop.  Be sure to pop over and check 'em out.  Such wonderful and diverse inspiration!

Here's what I've created for you today . . .

I decided on a Fall theme using her 'Fruit Stand Stamp Set'.

and my base card is actually a printed 8 1/2 x 11 using one of the paper images in her Fruit Stand Paper Pack then cut to size for my A6 card.

After a little 'tweaking' of the basket of peaches (I added more fruit), I then printed it out onto a 4x6 white cardstock panel and did a little fussy cutting.   I also printed the hanging fruit edger and cut it out so I could add it to the inside of my card front (see below) leaving plenty of room for my message.
With it being a fall themed card, I used burlap card stock for my added panels
and orange satin as well as orange gingham ribbon.  To add a little dimension & shine, I've used Crystal Effects on a few of the peaches.

I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun!
You do NOT have to use Beverly's images (of course we would love to see them if you have them) ... but you must follow the theme to qualify for the prize.  PRIZE you say . . .

Artsystamper Challenge - Sentiment-al

Hello my friends!

It's time for a new challenge over on the Artsystamper Challenge Blog where the team is showcasing digital images designed by Beverly Cole at The Artsystamper Shop!   The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month brings another Artsystamper Challenge
and today's theme is:

Sentiment-al

Beverly has designed a beautiful new set of Sentiments and coordinating paper!  Be sure to check 'em out!
Here's what I've created for you today . . .

The sets I have used are:

As you can see in the close up below, the original precolored image has all pink roses but my bouquet has other colors.  This was done by printing out this image in modified colors ... then fussy cutting and adhering the ones I wanted to make this a multi colored bouquet.

The birds were overlaid and set to the back which left a little opening between the two flowers (purple & blue) that I didn't like, so I fussy cut one of the extra leaves and inserted it in front of my blue flower blossom.  VIOLA!

I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun!
