Stencil Fun Challenge (1/25) - Use the word HELLO or something NEW

  Hello Everyone!

It's time for another fun challenge over on our Stencil Fun Challenge!

Remember, this challenge is all about using your STENCILS.
We are a MONTHLY challenge that begins on the FIRST TUESDAY of each month.
Theme will always be ANYTHING GOES USING STENCILS but we will also offer an OPTIONAL theme.

Here is the OPTIONAL theme chosen for this month:

HELLO NEW YEAR
Use the word HELLO or something NEW

While looking through my stencils for what to use today, I spotted this fabulous stencil that I had purchased through the Spellbinders Stencil Club a year or so ago but can be purchased separately now ... called Lively Floral (5 layering stencils).  I saw that sentiment of Hello Lovely and thought 'Perfect!'.

I've used Tim Holtz distress oxide inks & small finger daubers for the stenciling and added a few Pink Nuvo Drops for an accent.

For my second card (Anything Goes),

I've used an older Ciaobella 'Ramage' (MS037) stencil

and Tim Holtz distress oxide inks for the background on this card.  The sentiment stamp is from my friend Doni's collection and is a My Favorite Things stamp.  I've used a fine point black marker pen to add accent to the leaves.

Hopefully you'll get those stencils out and have some fun with us.
We won't always have a prize but periodically we will, you just never know!
We do have a Top 3 and a Top winner and it could be YOU!

Please come join us and GOOD LUCK!!
As always . . .

  4. You are doing an amazing job of making me want to grow my stencil stash. One of these days, sigh. Your flower card is gorgeous, and I love that leafy background stenciled card as well. There is way too much fun to be had in this craft!
