Theme will always be ANYTHING GOES USING STENCILS but we will also offer an OPTIONAL theme.
Here is the OPTIONAL theme chosen for this month:
Splatters
This is the first time using this Paper Rose Balloon Stencil & Mask set (#20982).

I used Tim Holts distress oxide inks to color in two of the balloon stencils then spritz'd with water for the splatter on the balloons. Added strings to each balloon with Tombow markers then covered over the balloons with the masks from the set and spritz'd again using Bronze Glitter Mist. Inked the edges of a sentiment I had laying on the work table and added Bronze Nuvo crystal drops.
For my second card (Anything Goes),
I've used another NEW (had but never used) stencil from Tonic Studio which came in a kit I bought a year or so ago. I've used Tim Holtz distress oxide inks for the coloring along with a black Tombow marker for the butterfly details. This card could be used for a variety of occasions.
Oooh, fun and pretty with all the wonderful color on each card!
ReplyDeleteBright and cheerful balloons, love the splatters too, the butterflies are so pretty and I can't wait until it is butterfly time again!!
ReplyDeleteLove the coloring and splattering of the ballons on the first. Pretty flowers and butterflies too!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your cards are stunning! The Paper Rose Balloon Stencil and vibrant colors truly bring the design to life. The splatter effect adds a playful touch, and the Bronze Glitter Mist enhances the overall look beautifully. The second card's use of the Tonic Studio stencil and distress oxide inks makes for a versatile and elegant creation, with the butterfly details adding a lovely touch. Great job on both!
