Hello Dear Friends
It's a new month and that means it's time for a new challenge over on our
LOVE THOSE PRETTY PAPERS blog.
Today, our OPTIONAL theme is
Rainbow Colors.
Diane & I
will be sharing a Themed pretty paper
card as well as an Anything
Goes card.
Here's my card using today's THEME:
When I saw today's theme, I knew EXACTLY what paper pack to reach for!
Diane has got me hooked on these beautiful Brutus Monroe papers and love this one in particular. And it pretty much has every color in the rainbow!
I don't see where this particular pad is available any longer but there are several other paper pads that are available that are equally beautiful. You can find them at brutusmonroe.com or other online stores such as Scrapbook.com and Simon Says Stamps.
I've used the Impression Obsession 'Special' die for my sentiment.
I've die cut it 3 times from white card stock and once from the scrap piece of Brutus Monroe that I cut off the end for my A6 card size, then adhered them all together for dimension.
Now for my 2nd card (anything goes) ...
Tutti Designs Scalloped oval dies
Tutti Designs Scalloped rectangle dies
Stampin' Up (circa 1999) sentiment stamp (front)
Computer generated sentiment (inside)
Prisma flowers
Nuvo white crystal drops
I just love it when you don't much more then the papers to make a pretty card and these certainly are those, both cards are very beautiful and you know some of my favorite papers!
ReplyDeleteI'm always inspired by your beautiful creations and today's challenge is no exception. The rainbow-themed card is absolutely stunning! Your attention to detail and choice of papers truly bring the designs to life. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I hope to see you again soon!
Absolutely gorgeous times two! I love Brutus Monroe papers. I have at least two pads in my collection that I've been admiring and drooling over, but have not yet used. I need to rectify that. Your lilac paper is dreamy, too. So many beautiful things, so much inspiration!
ReplyDeleteOh, how that paper of colorful butterflies makes me gasp! Both cards are beautiful, I love the lilacs so much. Your blog is a cheery place full of inspiration!
